Dr. Devakumar V.S. , MBBS from Karnataka University Dharwad in the year of 1994. Acquired Doctor of Medicine from Kuvempu University , Karnataka, India in the year of 1999 Specialization Dermatology, Venereology and Leprology. A Dissertation done on “Study of Contact Dermatitis due to Topical Medicaments by Patch Testing”.
At present, working in Dr. Damodaran Memorial Hospital, Kollam, Kerala from 2023 June and continuing as such as Consultant Dermatologist and Cosmetologist. Appointed as Dermatologist in the Service of Govt. of Kerala in 2001 and retired from the service in 2023 in the Post of Consultant Dermatologist. Between 2001 and 2006, worked as Dermatologist, Venereologist and Cosmetologist at Govt. district Hospital, Kollam, Kerala and Medical officer-in charge in District Police Hospital, Kollam, Kerala with following work responsibilities:
- Conferring with different medical stuffs and multi-disciplinary colleagues.
- Involved in active monitoring of Aids Patients.
- Instructing and counselling Aids Patients and STD Patients.
Foreign Assignments
Worked as Dermatologist and Venereologist and Cosmetologist in Shifa-Al-Jazeera, Kuwait Fahaheel from 2016 to 2019. Served as Visiting Dermatologist and Venereologist and Cosmetologist in Dar-Al-Saha Clinic, Kuwait Al-Shuwaikh, in between the year 2020 and 2022.
